Senior Banker, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development

Gabriel de Lastours joined the EBRD in 2006 as an Associate Banker in the Bank's Natural Resources team within the Energy Business Group. Since 2006, he has worked on a variety of mining and hydrocarbon financing projects in Eastern and Central Europe and in the CIS, including coal and precious metals mining projects. In 2010,Gabriel transferred to the Almaty Resident Office with the objective to develop the EBRD's Natural Resources portfolio in the country. He is now in the EBRD Switzerland office. Prior to joining the Bank, Gabriel was a senior consultant with Ernst & Young's Transaction Advisory Services in Paris, where he worked on corporate transactions and oil & gas and mining advisory assignments, and previously as an analyst for Credit Lyonnais (Calyon) in New York in investment banking. Gabriel is a graduate from the ESSEC Business School in Paris and holds a BA from the University of Paris IV - Sorbonne.
